A note: I haven't made an icon post for a very long time, so I'm a little unorganized here. Next time, I'll try to included notes about where the icons are from. But for now, I'm leaving those out. Please feel free to comment with a question.

Hey, few remaining people -

I'm going to move all my icon posts from this journal to skadi. I plan to backdate them so they'll be posted on the same day over there that they were posted here. I might be deleting this journal in a bit. That's a bit of a tough choice for me because I really appreciate the kind compliments I got ever here and I like coming back from time to time so I can smile at those old comments.

Hi, all!

Okay, I've had a paid account on my real journal (skadi) for sometime now. It's tough handling two journals, so I'm going to start posting icons to that journal.

Now, I like having all of you as friends and I'd love to keep you for my very own. So to make this easy, I've gone ahead and added you to skadi. If you don't want to friend a regular journal back, that's totally cool. In a few weeks I'll erase all the people who didn't friend me back and they'll be no hard feelings because I totally understand. But if you chose to friend me back on skadi, that'd be great.

Just so you know, I post pretty regularly in there. I tend to talk about my girlfriend and get incensed about gay rights and discuss books a lot. So I imagine I'm kinda boring.

If you don't want to add me back, feel free to visit any time. (I'll put icon entries in my memories so they can be found easily). I'm not erasing sunlit_roses, but I won't be uploading anything new to it.

Hey, all!

I noticed that I have a pretty decent friends list. So I thought I should address that.

First of all, thank you so much for friending me. It means a lot that you like my icons.

But you may have noticed that I didn't friend any non icon journals back. Here's why: I have two journals. One is for my every day life (skadi and one is for my icons. Whenever I want to look at daily life stuff, I go to skadi's friend list. But whenever I want to look at icons (and only icons) I look at sunlit_roses's friend list.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist/obsessive person, so this makes sense to me. But it means I'm not friending normal journals back. And that doesn't mean I'm trying to be a jerk. I just am making things ... efficient. It's complicated to scroll through lots of stuff while looking through icons.

So I hope I didn't offend anyone. I'd really like it if you guys kept me friended. It makes me feel really good. (If you noticed, I try to always reply to comments and show my appreciation). And if you have an icon journal, tell me and I'll friend it. But if you want a regular lj buddy, please go ahead and friend skadi. I promise I'll friend you right back.
